Understand that heavy furniture may cause the ethylene vinyl acetate to indent. This does not cause a loss of integrity and indents generally heal themselves in roughly the same amount of time it took for the indents to form. When heavy furniture is left in place on the foam tiles for long periods of time, indents could become permanent. We recommend using furniture coasters under the legs of heavy furniture to protect the foam from this.

How do you clean an EVA foam mat?

The minimal amount of time required for cleaning and to maintain is another reason why our customers love using these. Simple household cleaner products and warm water will work perfectly. The closed cell design prevents the growth of mold or bacteria too. Using a damp mop instead of soaking the floor will help prevent any liquids from slipping between the tiles at the interlocks.

A vacuum cleaner works nicely for daily maintenance. Just test the vacuum on a small area to ensure it will not scuff the surface. Power brushes are generally not recommended.

Product can be damp mopped with common household floor cleaners, avoid bleach. Test your vacuum before use.
