These tiles feature a surface pattern that resembles leather in a luxury tile, yet they consist of extremely durable PVC plastic, creating an expensive look at far more affordable prices.

Size and Shape Options

Each faux leather texture tile measures 19.75 by 19.75 inches. There is no loss to the interlocking edge, because it is hidden on the underside of the tile.

This makes it far easier to order the correct size of tile, as each tile will cover 390 square inches (about 2.7 square feet). To determine the approximate number of tiles you need to order, calculate the square footage of the room and then divide that number by 2.7.

Once the installation finishes, each tile will appear to have a perfectly square shape, thanks to the hidden interlocking edge. This further contributes to the luxury look in the final layout.

The individual square tiles are small enough to make them easy to handle for one person. Each tile weighs 5.1 pounds and measures 0.275 inches in thickness (or 7 mm).

Because all the tiles use the same dovetail interlocking design, customers could even mix and match colors. Perhaps you are seeking a checkerboard flooring pattern using contrasting colors. You also could use different colors to designate different sections of a warehouse or to provide a safety warning about certain areas with a bright yellow color in the floor.

Installation Options

To install these tiles, just line up the tabs on one tile with the notches on the other tile and press them together.

Installers have the option of simply dry-laying the tiles, which provides the ability to disconnect and remove the tiles in the future.

For the ability to completely repel water and liquid chemicals, the installer can use heat welding on the seams between the square tiles, ensuring that no chemicals or moisture can squeeze into the tiny seams. Cleaning and Maintenance Requirements

PVC plastic is easy to clean and maintain. To remove dry debris from the surface of these tiles, use a broom or a vacuum cleaner.

To remove stubborn stains or to generate a more thorough cleaning process, customers can mix hot water and a common household floor cleaner. Apply the solution with a mop over the top of the tiles.
