The Wearwell ErgoDeck HD Solid Anti Fatigue Flooring Tiles yield a commercial style flooring system that can stand up to regular use and stressful situations.

Some of the most popular use cases for this anti fatigue flooring include in factories and on assembly lines. It also works nicely as a machine shop floor, as a machining floor, or as a manufacturing floor.

In these work situations, people often must stand for long periods of time to do their jobs. This can be difficult when standing on a hard cement or laminate floor, as these unforgiving floors do not protect the lower body joints of the workers.

Slip Resistant Raised Pattern Flooring

In areas of the factory where wet or dry spills may occur, employers may be looking to give their employees an anti slip style of flooring.

Our ErgoDeck anti fatigue flooring also delivers slip resistance, as it uses a raised pattern of squares and L-shaped areas. This raised pattern gives workers a sure grip as they stand on or walk across the tiles.

Some smooth tiles could create a slip hazard when they become wet or when employees spill a loose powder on them. But the slight variations in the raised pattern on the top of these Wearwell tiles greatly reduces the possibility of slips when liquids and soils are present on the surface.

Because these tiles do not have perforations, the manufacturer recommends using them in areas that will primarily remain dry. For wet area tiles, ErgoDeck mats with perforations are the better selection.

Firm Industrial Flooring

Even though this anti fatigue flooring has a slight give to it, allowing employees to stand and work comfortably for a longer period than hard floors, these tiles deliver plenty of stability and firmness.

When standing and working, employees will not sink into the floor as they might with a highly cushioned, soft floor, which could create a stumbling hazard. Floors that are too soft can also create balance issues and lead to pain in the lower back.

These PVC plastic interlocking tiles are firm enough to allow employees to roll carts over the top of them without having the wheels sink into the material.

Simple Installation System

Installers do not need a lot of experience with flooring installs to lay out our interlocking tiles. The edges of the tiles contain loops and tabs in a positive interlocking system, which creates an extremely secure final layout that will not pull apart when placed under stress.

Because of the tight fit of the interlocking system, installers should not add glue or adhesive to the edges of the tiles. They maintain their secure fit without glue.

With a dry lay installation process, installers can disassemble the tiles and return to the original subfloor at any time. These tiles pull apart almost as quickly as they go together. Customers may want to remove the tiles to allow for a thorough cleaning of the individual tiles or to clean the subfloor.

Because of the durability of these PVC plastic tiles, it is unlikely that a single tile will suffer significant damage. However, should this happen, installers can pull out the damaged tile and replace it with a new one. All tiles in this family use the same interlocking system.

Installers can cut these tiles to fit with a utility knife, although it may take several cutting strokes to completely penetrate the 7/8-inch thickness of the PVC plastic.

For daily cleaning, the manufacturer recommends sweeping or vacuuming these tiles. This should remove dust and loose dry debris. If customers leave the dust on the surface of the floor tile, especially in heavy foot traffic areas, it could grind into the PVC plastic, leading to more frequent cleaning requirements.

When seeking to remove soils, customers can mop the surface of the solid mats with a neutral pH cleaning solution diluted with water. After mopping, allow the area to dry naturally in the air.
