When employees frequently must roll equipment carts over the top of fatigue flooring, having a floor that has enough firmness to support the weight of the cart is important. Our Wearwell ErgoDeck Smooth PVC Anti Fatigue Mat has the ideal mixture of cushioning and firm support in the floor.

Each of these mats has a flat surface layer that yields a little bit of cushioning to help employees who must stand on the mats and work for an entire day.

The bottom layer has the firmness that businesses need to allow rolling carts to use the floor without sinking too far into the material, leaving the wheels unable to turn smoothly.

If the flooring on an assembly line or in a manufacturing facility is too soft, it will deform when placed under pressure. Our PVC anti fatigue mat product does not have this problem, thanks to the firm underlayer.

One of the biggest advantages of our 18×18 tiles is the ability to create a floor layout that is the exact size needed for the job being done.

If businesses need a long, narrow layout along an assembly line, they can place these squares in that type of pattern. Layouts that go wall to wall in a squarish room are also possible.

Because installers will not use glue on the positive interlocking system along the edges of each tile, they can disassemble the flooring after completing a certain type of work and reassemble the tiles in a new location or in a new layout to handle a different type of task on the factory floor.

The tabs and loops on these tiles will hold the tiles in place tightly. They will not pull apart, even when placed under the stress of being in a high foot traffic area or when facing the stress of having lightweight carts and dollies roll across them on a regular basis.

When creating a wall-to-wall layout with these tiles or when bumping into a stationary object in the room, installers can cut these 7/8-inch thick tiles to fit using a utility knife. It may take several cuts to work all the way through the material, although PVC is easier to cut than a denser material such as rubber.

If you need to cut these mats, you must cut them in 3-inch increments either horizontally or vertically along the tile to protect the interlock system. Installers can attach the smaller, cut tile to the rest of the flooring layout securely when following this pattern for cutting.

For daily maintenance tasks, customers should sweep or vacuum the tiles to remove dust and dry debris. If the tiles do not see significant foot traffic, customers can sweep the tiles a little less often.

For a more thorough cleaning process, customers can mop the floor using a mixture of warm water and a neutral pH cleaner. For stubborn stains, using a soft-bristled scrub brush should provide the desired results. After mopping the floor, allow it to dry naturally in the air.

Should any of these tiles suffer damage, which rarely occurs with this highly durable configuration, installers can simply swap out the damaged tile for a new one. All of these ErgoDeck tiles use the same interlocking system.
