Simple Installation for Manufacturing Flooring

With the positive interlocking system on the edge of each 18×18 anti fatigue standing mat tile, the entire layout will hold together tightly, even when placed under significant stress.

Customers will not need to adhere the tiles to the subfloor or to add glue to the interlocking tabs and loops on the edge of each tile, further simplifying installation.

Should the installer want to pick up these tiles and return the site to the original subfloor, the interlocking system pulls apart as quickly as it went together. Installers easily can reconfigure these tiles into a new floor covering shape, matching whatever kind of job will be part of this particular workday.

If you must cut any of the tiles to fit against a wall, you can preserve the interlocking system by cutting the tile in a 3-inch increment either vertically or horizontally. If you will be placing the cut tile against the same wall permanently and not disassembling the floor at any time, you do not need to adhere to the 3-inch increment.

For another anti slip advantage of this floor, the manufacturer included a raised surface pattern of squares and L shapes across the entire width and length of each tile. This pattern gives the employee a far greater chance of avoiding slips versus a smooth tile.

Maintenance and Care

These are heavy duty tiles, meaning that they will stand up to regular foot traffic. Regular cleaning will maintain the integrity of the gritty surface of this anti fatigue standing mat design as well.

Our modular mat tiles don’t require a lot of time to perform the cleaning process, which is a benefit in a busy business location where workers need to spend more time doing their jobs and less time cleaning.

Customers can sweep the surface with a broom. Sometimes, though, the gritty top layer may reduce the effectiveness of a broom. You can use a vacuum cleaner instead of a broom to remove dry debris without affecting the Gritshield layer.

Although these tiles work best for use in primarily dry areas, customers do have the option of rinsing them with a pressure hose on a low setting to remove dry debris.

To clean stubborn stains, customers may use a mop to scrub the tiles. Dilute a neutral pH solution or a mild detergent with warm water to create a safe cleaning solution. Allow the material to air dry after mopping.

Do not place these mats in a washing machine or use a steam cleaner on them.
